“Orti di Capalbio” is a small farmhouse in the Maremma in Tuscany… an authentic land of ancient traditions.
Alessia and Enrico will personally welcome you to their simple and well-kept rural environment.
We have always grown vegetables, cereals and olives… today asparagus accounts for most of our production.
The spacious double rooms with wooden beams, the result of an old warehouse conversion, all have air conditioning, mini-bar, TV, WIFI and private bathroom with wellness shower; each room has a shaded parking space.
Our strategic location provides easy access to the sea and the main local attractions (Capalbio, Tarot Garden, Burano WWF Oasis, Argentario, Ancient Roman Town of Cosa, Saturnia Spa, Maremma Park, Vulci, Tarquinia). Rome can be reached in just over an hour by train. You can reach us by car from Rome and Pisa airports along the SS1 Aurelia State Road in just a short time.
We have a comfortable and spacious communal area where, in the morning, we serve a country style, family breakfast with homemade cakes, durum wheat bread, jams, honey, seasonal fruit (on request, small baked delicacies and local savoury specialities).
We love to share our passion for travelling through an information corner where we provide tourist material and information on excursions, visits, initiatives and events (trekking, cycling, horse-riding, diving, sailing, festivals, wine and food tastings, museums).
Time passes slowly here… the centuries-old olive trees around the farmhouse and the star-filled sky that you can enjoy after sunset are the most vivid testimony… we look forward to seeing you!
